Your mission

Leading, mentoring and developing our high-performance engineering team while fostering a culture of innovation, security awareness and collaboration
Building structures of collaboration and cohesion across all technology-related functions to ensure efficient use of our resources and consistency in UX/UI and architecture
Developing and implementing the technical vision, strategy and architecture of the product portfolio, ensuring that engineering efforts support overall business objectives
Collaboration and coordination of development efforts in Eclipse Tractus-X open source to contribute to the broader ecosystem
Identifying, owning and managing potential risks within engineering projects and processes
Developing mitigation plans and ensuring the teams implement these strategies to minimize impacts on timelines and quality
Establishing cross-functional end-to-end process chains e.g., between development, product management and sales to ensure sustainable implementation of planned requirements
Ensuring the scalability, security and performance of the products and processes as well as compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as TISAX and ISO/IEC 27001
Ensuring adequate technical documentation and high code quality as well as cross-product documentation of all features
Strengthening the Cofinity-X brand as a technology leader by taking an active role in strategically relevant panels, technical conferences and corporate events
Identifying, evaluating and implementing modern technologies like AI to ensure Cofinity-X stays at the forefront of innovation

Your profile

At least 8-10 years of experience in senior technology leadership roles with a proven track record of building and leading large, diverse development teams and driving an innovation and results-driven culture
Ability to lead large growth stage teams and systems, resolve conflict and develop talent
Deep understanding of modern software development, cloud technologies, data spaces, architectures and data management
Excellent communication skills to make technical topics understandable to non-technical people
Prior knowledge of decentralized IT systems, along with expertise in Gaia-X, Catena-X, and the EDC Connector, would be beneficial
Ability to link technical decisions to business goals and strategy
ISO/IEC 27001 or TISAX knowledge would be beneficial
Excellent German and English language skills
