Cofinity-X is a joint venture founded in 2023 by BASF, BMW Group, Henkel, Mercedes-Benz, SAP, Schaeffler, Siemens, T-Systems, Volkswagen, and ZF. Established by industry experts, our company is primed for growth and is intended to be further led by professionals like yourself. ​

Your mission

• Define and communicate a product vision and strategy, ensuring it is in sync with Cofinity-X's overarching objectives and resonates with the evolving market.
• Guide and nurture multidisciplinary teams that include experts in front-end and back-end development, alongside dedicated DevOps architects and engineers.
• Supervise the entire product development cycle, from ideation to deployment, encompassing feature conceptualization, design, architecture, coding, and validation in an agile product development world.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with a wide network of stakeholders across various geographies, fostering clear and coherent dialogue regarding product evolution.
• Guarantee the delivery of premier software solutions by directing testing protocols and championing superior practices in both design and execution phases.
• Collaborate intimately with DevOps units to refine deployment workflows, enhance infrastructure, and assure system dependability.
• Keep customer needs and input at the forefront, validating that the product not only meets but exceeds market expectations and user satisfaction.
• Comprehend and manage the operational facets of the product to ensure persistent availability and optimal performance.

Your profile

• At least 2 years of functional leadership experience, with demonstrable expertise in steering development crews and delivering software ventures with marked success.
• Ability to define and communicate a clear vision for the product.
• Skill in identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies
• Proficiency in identifying market needs and the corresponding product opportunities.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management from conception to launch.
• Extended experience in agile methods (backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization) and tooling (Jira, Confluence, Miro, etc.)
• Ability to negotiate features, resources, and timelines with teams and stakeholders.
• Effective communication skills with stakeholders to understand and negotiate their needs and expectations.
• Extended skills in different technology stack, particularly with Java, React, and C#
• Ability to interpret data analytics to make data driven product decisions.
• Outstanding communicative abilities, fluency in English (oral and written)
• Optional: Enhanced knowledge of identity management frameworks, including OpenID Connect (OIDC), and a foundational understanding of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI). Additionally a fundamental grasp of open-source initiatives and the dynamics of inter-project cooperation are a benefit.

It is a joint venture of BASF, BMW Group, Henkel, Mercedes-Benz, SAP, Schaeffler, Siemens, T-Systems, Volkswagen and ZF. The vision of Cofinity-X is to run an open marketplace for the provision of own and third-party business applications and further services that enable secured and standardized data transfer along the automotive value chain in accordance with the Gaia-X and Catena-X principles with initial focus on the European market.
