Your mission

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for various software applications, with a focus on both manual and automated testing
• Perform functional, regression, sanity, system, and End-to-End testing
• Develop and execute automated test scripts using frameworks like Cucumber, BDD, Rest-Assured, and web automation tools such as Cypress and Playwright
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues, improve software quality
• Review and analyze system specifications, user stories
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, automated test suites, and manual test executions where applicable
• Document test results and report on testing progress, including automated test coverage
• Ensure test coverage and traceability of test cases to requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers
• Provide feedback on the quality of the product and suggest improvements
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings

Your profile

• Educational background in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in both manual and automated software testing
• Proficiency in testing techniques, manual testing tools, and automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with APIs & web test automation tools and frameworks such as Rest-Assured, Cucumber, BDD, Cypress, and Playwright
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray)
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring product quality
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within these pipelines would be a plus
